Forbes published it richest rapper list last month, crowning Diddy as the wealthiest artist of the bunch with a net worth of $700 million. Due to his many business ventures like REVOLT TV, it was also predicted that he might be the first to gain membership the billionaire boys club.
But Dr. Dre decided to put out his traffic light and said "slow down".
It was revealed that Dr.Dre accepted a cool $3.2 billion from Apple for Dre Beats headphone and streaming service.
And so the race to become Hip Hop's first billionaire took an unexpected turn.
Tyrese took it to facebook to reveal and celebrate the good doc.
Forbes magazine however did their maths and said the sale wouldn't make Dre a billionaire yet . According to them after taxes, he would leave with a net worth of $800 million.But we can count on Dre to access one of those forgotten accounts that has a $200 million waiting there.
Diddy became more motivated with this and took it Instagram to congratulate Dr.Dre .
